“Government  Moving the Goal Post  Again”

With the County’s litigation track record in this area, judgment is unlikely to be entered for at least four years, and all the while these families will be deprived of the income they anticipated, based on the County’s assurances.  While there is no guarantee of a favorable outcome, changes in composition of the United States Supreme Court over the past few years will tend to protect property rights against overly-restrictive regulation. This cannot give comfort to the County.
